Homelessness legal advice service

We provide a specialist housing and homelessness service, offering legal advice for clients across Devon and the south west of England. Our expert housing team can advise you on your rights and options if you find yourself homeless or at risk of homelessness subject to the capacity of our small, dedicated team.

Are you at risk of homelessness?

You do not have to be sleeping on the streets to be homeless. You may be considered homeless if you are:

Staying temporarily with friends or family (also known as ‘sofa surfing’)
Staying in a hostel, B&B or hotel
Living in a property without permission
At risk of domestic violence or abuse in your home
Living in poor conditions that put your health and safety at risk

We can advise you on how to make a homeless application and the steps to take if you have been found intentionally homeless.
