DASLS Awards 2025 Shortlist Announced
Cartridges Law has been shortlisted in four categories at this year’s Devon and Somerset Law Society (DASLS) Legal Awards.
The DASLS Awards celebrate excellence across the legal profession, and we’re incredibly proud to see the talent, commitment and innovation of our team recognised in this way.
Support Team Member of the Year: Eleanor Hill
Eleanor (Ele) Hill has been shortlisted for Support Team Member of the Year in recognition of her outstanding work as Property Team Administrator. Since joining the firm in 2021, Ele has become the backbone of the Property team, supporting colleagues with her attention to detail and proactive approach, mentoring new team members, and creating a calm, supportive experience for clients. We’re thrilled to see Ele recognised for her hard work and dedication.
Leader of the Year: Nicky Mein
We are delighted that Partner Nicky Mein has been shortlisted for Leader of the Year. Nicky’s transformational leadership, her commitment to social justice, and her track record within the field of Family Law have earned her recognition across the legal sector and beyond.
Nicky’s commitment to mentoring others and investing in people’s growth makes her a natural leader and role model. Her shortlisting is a well-deserved acknowledgement of Nicky’s impact on both our team and the wider legal profession.
Sustainability Award: The Cartridges Law Green Team
The Cartridges Law Green Team has been shortlisted for the Sustainability award for their ongoing work to help the firm operate in a more environmentally responsible way. Since forming in 2021, this cross-departmental, staff-led team has taken proactive steps to reduce emissions from the business; collecting and analysing firm-wide emissions data, identifying and introducing operational changes, making strategic recommendations to the management team, and engaging the wider firm in the process. Their commitment to this initiative is helping Cartridges Law to reduce its carbon footprint while setting an example for sustainability in the legal sector.
Firm of the Year: Shortlisted at Judges’ Discretion
We were also incredibly proud to be shortlisted for Firm of the Year after being nominated by the judges based on our other category submissions. To be recognised at this level by the judging panel is a real testament to the hard work, commitment, values and impact of our whole team.
The winners will be announced at the DASLS Awards ceremony on 19 June, and regardless of the outcome, we’re incredibly proud to be recognised alongside so many outstanding professionals.
