Rugby playing brothers, Mitchel and Bailey Squibb have received a boost to their game, thanks to sponsorship from Cartridges Law.

The Exeter-based law firm has stepped in to support the two players, who play for Newton Abbot Rugby Club. They are the sons of Karyna Squibb, who is head of the private client department and associate legal executive at Cartridges Law’s. The sponsorship will go towards paying fees and travel expenses.

Mitchel, 24, who is in the Royal Navy, said they were grateful for the support. “We’d both like to thank Cartridges Law for sponsoring us. As a team this kind of sponsorship is so valuable and does make a real difference.”

Apprentice plumber, Bailey, 18, added: “We’re both incredibly grateful to Cartridges Law and proud to have them as our sponsors.”

Cartridges Law was established in Exeter more than 50 years ago. Partner, Penny Scott, said: “As a firm it is important to us to support both our community and our employees and a sponsorship of this nature feels like it does both of those things. We’re all keen to find out how the lads got on over the weekend, so I think Newton Abbot Rugby Club has also gained some new fans.”
