We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for a number of regional awards, with the finals coming up over the next few months.
The first is the FSB Celebrating Small Business Award (South West) in which we have been shortlisted for the Wellbeing category, something which we are very proud of at Cartridges Law. As an ethical law firm which puts people – staff and clients – at the heart of what it does we have several measures in place to support the health and wellbeing of our staff and it is great to have these recognised. Some of the measures include; sitting/standing workspaces, free back and hand massages and access to confidential counselling when required.
We have also developed a large number of flexible working patterns and are responsive to staff requests. In recent years the offices have been modernised for the benefit of staff, to include a peaceful garden, a useful kitchen where staff can prepare their meals, as well as a cycle rack and a shower for those who have an active commute to work. The finals take place on Wednesday, February 26 in Taunton.
We’re also keeping our fingers crossed for the Devon and Somerset Legal Awards which will be announced at a ceremony in Exeter Cathedral on April 30. We’ve been shortlisted for an incredible four awards in the categories of Employer of the Year, Team of the Year, Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year for Faye Newbery and the Rising Star award for Leanne Yendell.
We’re very proud of our team and their commitment to achieving the highest standards and best outcomes for our clients and being shortlisted for these events is a true reflection of their dedication.
