The community of St Thomas and Exeter is really important to us at Cartridges Law, and we enjoy the opportunity to get to know the people within it. After supporting Lexi Chambers in her recent world record attempts, we are thrilled to welcome her incredible artwork into our reception area, as part of our cARTridges exhibition. You can read more about Lexi’s world records here.

Lexi said: “I have been drawing my whole life. Since I could pick up a pencil. It has always been a place of escapism for me.”

But unlike many artists, Lexi didn’t go to art college or opt for this as a career when she left school.

She says: “I am completely self-taught. I have experimented with most mediums, but settled on using pastel pencils 6 years ago, when I was recovering from surgery. It was at this point where I began to focus on wildlife art and pet portraiture.”

We hope you agree with us that Lexi’s art is absolutely wonderful, and we’re thrilled that she’s chosen to exhibit with us as part of our cARTridges exhibition. But it’s not just us who appreciates her work. She has also been shortlisted for the Patel art prize and Mall Galleries art prize. As well as in our reception area, her work is also in Otterton Mill and the South Gate Gallery in Exeter.
