Joined Cartridges on : August 2021

Susanna began her legal career in 2003, working for the family business as a legal executive, before moving to Cartridges Law and specialising in residential work. She holds an HNC in Legal Practice, Ilex level 3, is currently studying CILEX advanced Paralegal course, and holds CQS intermediate certificates.

As a key member of the firm’s residential team, Susanna particularly enjoys dealing with foreign clients and explaining how conveyancing works in the UK, as well as supporting elderly clients. Susanna enjoys selling park homes, dealing with assents of title and transfers of equity, and supports other members of staff with land registry queries/requisitions.

I enjoy the challenges that working in property law brings and I have a varied caseload, which is a mix of sales, purchases, and transfer of equity. No conveyancing file is the same. I like to get to know the person I am acting for and consider myself to be down to earth and able to establish a rapport to make people feel at ease. After all, moving house is one of the most stressful things that you will do in your life.

I’d not had the best experience from the legal profession when selling the house so was reluctant to instruct the same firm, and Cartridges seemed a good idea mainly on the grounds of being so local. Susanna was assigned to me, and I immediately felt in very competent hands.

All in all, this has been my best experience with the legal profession.
