Underhill Estate Agents is a local independent Estate Agency based in Devon. Established in 2004 with 3 branches offering professional services in all aspects of residential sales, lettings, land and new homes.

What challenges have you faced in the past few months and how did you overcome them?
Like most businesses, the Coronavirus pandemic has been a challenge like no other. We had to adapt the business very quickly and be reactive to the situation. Straightaway we invested in professional video equipment to enable us to continue to show case the properties we had and the online telephone and computer systems allowed all our team the ability to work from home before lockdown had even started. Thanks to the flexibility in our business model coupled with the stamp duty holiday we are now experiencing a 360% uplift in sales YOY and are busier than ever.
Where do you see the business in five years’ time?
Continuing to grow market share with a main focus on supporting and helping people and improving their lives.
What is your best piece of advice for similar businesses to yours?
Have the flexibility and ability to quickly adapt your business and marketing strategies to the changing market, invest in your team – they are the foundations of your business, focus on customer service – the customer is our number one priority.
