As part of our client spotlight series we talked to Brave Body Fitness, who have been a Cartridges Law client since 2019.
We asked how 2020 has been for them and what the future looks like.
Tell us about yourself
I am currently a sole trader who owns Brave Body Fitness. This role is a service to help people find their physical, mental and emotional strength using a holistic personal training bespoke plan. My life has seen many ups and downs which has lead me to help others because of my struggles after being diagnosed with PTSD and reaching rock bottom. Since then my ambition is to help others find their courage to come back as I have done and face life with a smile more often.
When did you become a Cartridges Law client?
2019
How have our business team helped you?
During 2019 it became clear that there was a need to use a legal service to help me set up BBF to protect intellectual property online, and also regulate GDPR. As I was a novice to this it felt that a local face to face relationship was essential to proceed forwards hence approaching Leanne.
What challenges have you faced in the past few months and how did you overcome them?
When lockdown began my enquiries went from being active to very few. And, as of right now, there is still a cautiousness from clients about working face to face because of ongoing restrictions. I have overcome this by taking my service online via video classes, and weekly demonstrations using social media.
Where do you see the business in five years’ time?
My business will be a fully formed multiple tier service in 5 years which will have facilities for people to come and use the fitness, holistic practice of yoga and mindfulness teachings as well as the counselling services. All of which is being integrated into my business model in 2021 with fresh branding to enable more people to buy from me.
What is your best piece of advice for similar businesses to yours?
My advice for other health and wellness professionals is to see each person and their narrative, and care about it: ‘people do not care how much you know; they want to know how much you care.’ (Author unknown)
