Position Description

Overall purpose:

To provide a commercially focused legal service that provides excellent customer and client service.  Assist in developing Cartridges Law within the agreed business strategy, ensuring adherence to all legal and professional guidelines and regulations and continued Lexcel compliance within the internal procedures.

Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1.     Provide a high quality legal service to all Cartridges Law clients, providing appropriate advice and drafting legal documents. 

2.     Develop and maintain good customer and client relationships, gaining clients’ confidence and that of other professionals.

3.     Manage fee income against pre-agreed performance targets, including appropriate and on-time billing and account for the same within the guidelines of the practice.

4.     Assist in the ongoing marketing of the services of Cartridges Law through speaker events, seminars and various media channels, and contribute knowledge to newsletters and social media channels.  Utilise all appropriate channels to promote yourself and the Firm.

5.     To be a member of panels and relevant organisations as the Firm deems appropriate.

6.     Represent clients in tribunals and Courts where required.

7.     Keep up-to-date with all relevant law and procedure and abide by all professional rules of conduct.

8.     To undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required by the Law Society.

9.     To operate at all times in full compliance with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) Code of Conduct and Principles.

10.  Be aware of and follow Cartridges Law policies and procedures, with particular attention to standards of customer and client service, health and safety, and equality and diversity.

Qualifications, Training & Education

  • Demonstration of ongoing engagement with legal education and training (CPD).
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • LPC/BVC qualified

 

  • CILEx qualified / qualifying

Experience

 

 

  • Relevant experience in a professional services firm.
